Hemp a Product with Many Uses

Throughout human history hemp has been used for medicine, paper, rope, fuel, shelter, food, and clothing.

Shortly after discharge from military service

In 1978 while working for the County Highway Department one rainy day story told by Frog Rayburn and Sam Walton was of a 1938 hemp field on Walnut Ridge.
On rainy days working for the County Highway Department meant riding country roads making sure the water was flowing which left time for stories about the past. This day the story was of the Walnut Ridge Hemp Field which was maintained by the government. Government trucks brought workers to the fields daily to cultivate the hemp. The workers would dry leaves from the plants and smoke them while they worked. After this time laws changed and hemp production was prohibited.
Many humans now question the ban on growing hemp.
Throughout these turbulent decades hemp jewelry has remained fashionable.
